ANTIQUE SINGER RED EYE 66 TREADLE SEWING MACHINE. The machine could use a mild cleaning throughout.t's some scratches & crazing on the bed.as well as some dirty blotchy spots.nothing too bad.and a cleaning & polishing will do wonders! The chrome metal on this machine is in GOOD condition, maybe just needing a polishing.If you have a SINGER treadle w your machine head tucks away when not in use.THIS RED EYE head will for in your treadle! What fun if you have a SPHINX or PHEASANT head, but really would like to try sewing on a RED EYE.different style machines.but they all work in the drop-head treadles! While the MAJORITY of the decals on this machine are in GREAT condition.t is SOME wear.most notibly on the leading edge of the sewing bed.or front edge.w t is wear and some very typical edge paint chips.the REAR arm decal has an interesting flaw on the word Singer.the "S" is split.Decals for sewing machines were kind of like BIG stickers.Singer would paint the machine.apply the sticky decals.and then clear-coat over eveything.Sometimes the decals got bent.or stuck.or is what has happened ! ease note on the rear of the machine.t are 4 extrcuricular little scew holes.2 in the arm.and 2 in the rear of the tower.all pictured.these were from an after-market sewing light that the previous owner had installed on the machine to help her see better while sewing.I have removed the light.while it left a few small holes behind.I feel the head looks better without the light, as they were NOT originally part of the machine.
